March is here and hopefully we will soon see our first signs of Spring. A big thank you to our Community Helpers that came in and talked to the children last month. Officer Ryan (Madison’s dad) talked about being a police officer and gave out sticker badges. Mrs. Carducci (Leah’s mom) a Physician’s Assistant talked to the children about her job and the importance of washing hands frequently, sneezing and coughing into your elbow, and staying home if you are sick. She gave out surgical hats to the children. Also, Caden and Cole’s grandpa Rick (Painesville fire chief) came in and dressed in his full fire gear and talked about fire safety. Also Fire Pup came along too, which was actually Caden and Cole’s dad. That was a big surprise for the boys!

Our Zoo theme which will last one more week is very popular with the children. We have been creating wonderful crafts and incorporating many math skills using zoo animals like patterning, sorting, and using a scale etc.

Our upcoming themes will be “Colors” the week of March 18 and then “Cooking/Nutrition” for the next two weeks.

Don’t forget Donuts with Dad March 19 and 20!!!

Spring Break will begin on Friday, March 29 and school will resume Monday, April 8th.

Think Spring!!!
