The 2010 growing season is almost here. Now is the time to think about enjoying farm fresh, locally grown produce from our friends Mick and Kay Prochko of Covered Bridge Gardens. You are invited to a presentation at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Pembroke Kids to find out about the benefits of belonging to a Community Supported Agriculture group. Support a northeast Ohio farmer and know where your produce is grown! Reduce your carbon foot print! Imagine, fruits and vegetables traveling only 70 miles to you, and not 3,000!

You can download the 2010 CSA brochure/application from the Covered Bridge Gardens website, print the pdf and mail it directly to Mick and Kay. Like last year, there is a 1, 2, or 3 part payment plan. You will be able to sign up on line and use PayPal if you wish. Otherwise your application must be accompanied by your first payment. There are a limited number of shares available so don’t delay! If you think you may have difficulty using all the produce in either a single or family share, consider sharing both the bag contents and cost with a friend!
