If you are not currently enrolled in our school, you will also need to download and fill out an ODJFS Child Medical Form (JFS 01234) prior to the first day of camp. Pembroke Kids’ summer program is a fun, but carefully structured camp experience that is an extension of our regular programming. To add a bit of fun to our daily schedule, we’ve developed special weekly themes that capture the essence of summertime. Our program is designed for preschool children ages 3 to 4, pre-kindergarten (age 5) or school age children in grades 1 through 6. Each of our lead teachers has at least a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field. Pre-school teacher-student ratio is 1 to 10.

Preschool Camp Ages 3-4

Pembroke’s 8 week preschool summer camp program runs from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Parents must provide a morning snack and beverage each day. Children have to register for a minimum of 3 camp days per week. The days you pick are flexible. You can pick any 3 or more days you want, and any week(s) you want. We will make every effort to accommodate your requests, but space is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Kindergarten Prep Camp

Are your preschool graduates ready for Kindergarten? They can join our summer Kindergarten Prep program and experience first hand what a real Kindergarten class is all about. Designed by our current Kindergarten teacher, this fun filled summer program will reinforce important skills and make sure your child knows what to expect on their first day of Kindergarten.  Small class size, weekly themes, and a stimulating summer atmosphere will set the stage for a great new beginning.

School Age Camp Grades 1-6

Explore new ideas, develop new skills, and make new friends in a safe, supportive and fun-filled environment. The Digital Discovery Center summer camp program for school age children offers an equal balance of fun and learning that will provide your child with one of the most enjoyable summer experiences possible.

Camp runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with a half-day AM or PM option. Morning sessions last from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Parents should provide a snack for half-day campers and must provide a lunch (including beverage) for full-day campers. We require the use of an insulated cooler with the camper’s name on it.

Campers are encouraged to signup for a week at a time but must register for a minimum of 3 camp days per week. The days you pick are flexible. Tuition

2011 Preschool Camp Tuition is discounted based upon the number of weeks your child attends. For any 1-4 weeks, tuition is $22 per day and for any 5-8 weeks, tuition is $20 per day. Siblings receive an additional 10% discount. A $50 non-refundable deposit, to be applied toward camp tuition, is required at time of registration.

2011 Kindergarten Prep and School Age Camp Tuition is discounted based upon the number of weeks your child attends. For any 1-4 weeks, tuition is $25/full day and $22/half day. For any 5-8 weeks, tuition is $22/full day and $20/half day. Siblings receive an additional 10% discount. A $50 non-refundable deposit, to be applied toward camp tuition, is required at time of registration.

2011 Extended Care for Kindergarten Prep and School Age Campers is available mornings from 7:00 am until 9:00 am and costs $5 per day. Afternoon extended care lasts from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm and costs $10 per day.
