We really enjoyed meeting with all of you during our two days of conferences. It is always nice to sit and chat about the progress your children have made in just a few short months. If you ever have questions or concerns our door is always open or send us an email and we will respond by the days end.

Winter is definitely upon us! The children have become very independent putting on all their snow gear to venture outside to play in the snow and go sledding. Check out our sledding pictures that are on our door.
We have just finished up our two week long theme about dinosaurs and the children have really enjoyed it. We did many art related dinosaur activities, math games like predicting how many of our shoes fit into an Apatamasaurus’s footprint. (The actual number was 38 shoes)!

Valentines week we will focus on Sharing and Caring by having Show and Share and talking about being a good friend and sending cards to friends. After that theme we will be talking about Community Helpers and will be inviting special visitors to our classroom.
Please be sure to check your child’s extra clothes boxes. We have noticed lots of children still have their summer clothes in the boxes or they have literally grown out of their extra clothes. Please take a moment and check these boxes.
Just a reminder—there will be No School on Monday, February 18th in honor of Presidents Day.
