Is a half day program all that is offered in you school district? Do you want your child to remain excited about learning and want to go to school every day? We often hear parents express these concerns, and we want you to know that you have another choice. Pembroke’s full day kindergarten is an option you really should take a look at. Our full day kindergarten program began two years ago, and it has been exciting to see the program grow and thrive. Our students go on to first grade confident and well prepared. Our curriculum is based on guidelines set by Best Practice in the teaching of young children and is also aligned with the Ohio Content Standards. Children flourish in this hands-on environment where they are engaged in authentic reading, writing, math and science activities.  Our low teacher-child ratio of 1:14 provides increased individual attention, support and encouragement. We also offer a flexible option that allows transitioning to a full day schedule by November 1^st because we realize that in the education of children, one size does not fit all.
